Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda, California's youngest child, grew up around her home in the San Francisco Bay Area. She became interested in acting at age ten, when she was a singer in a Christmas production at school. The school play she performed in was and local community theatre. Linda has graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. She had to choose among New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV when she finished her studies. After graduating, she had to decide whether or not to pursue a career in film or television in Los Angeles. Linda was first cast as a character on Bone Chillers (1996). In 1999, she landed her first big role as Lindsay Weir in the show Freaks and Geeks. In the acclaimed series she played decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show was awarded the Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.
Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by her stage title Lily James, is an English actress from the UK. She studied acting in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and made her debut with the British TV show Just William (2010). Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she was cast in the leading role in Cinderella which was a film about fantasy. She had previously played Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James went on to portray Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) as well as starring in various movies, including the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Pam & Tommy, a biographical television series based on the life of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) was nominated for Golden Globe Award winner and the Primetime Emmy Award.
