Mary McCormack, an American actress, is most well-known for her role as the main character in TV series like "The West Wing, In Plain Sight and Loaded.' Also known for her roles in films which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack was the daughter of the owner of an ice cream shop as well as a psychologist who worked in a clinic. The family is not in any relationship with entertainment. After her parents divorced in 1990 she attended Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with the degree of BA in Comparative Art. When she was just 12 when she began her stage career, it started when she performed in "Amahl The Night Visitor, and Amahl", a holiday opera. The actress continued to perform in the theatre, and eventually landed roles both on large and small screen. McCormack is now recognized as one of Hollywood's best performers. Married to producer cum director Michael Morris, she has three daughters.
